A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. It allows the site to remember information about your visit to improve your experience.
How Aslan uses cookies
Aslan takes a minimalist approach to cookies. This website does not use any third-party tracking or profiling cookies, and the only advertising-related technology present is the Google conversion tag described below. Here are the technologies we use:
Essential cookies
Necessary for the platform to function. They enable navigation and access to secure areas. They cannot be disabled.

In practice, the only cookie this website sets itself is NEXT_LOCALE, a preference cookie placed by our internationalization layer when you switch between English and French. It stores the two-letter language code, contains no identifier and is never shared with third parties.
Analytics (Umami)
We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-friendly cookieless solution hosted on our own servers in Morocco. Umami does not place any cookies and does not collect any personally identifiable data.

Advertising measurement (Google Ads)
This site loads the Google Ads tag (gtag.js) to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns. If you arrive on the site after clicking one of our ads, Google may set cookies on your device (such as _gcl_au) to attribute that visit to the campaign — this is known as conversion measurement. We do not use this tag to build advertising profiles, and no other advertising or remarketing technology runs on this site. For details on how Google processes this data, see Google's privacy policy.
What we do not use
- Facebook Pixel or other social media pixels
- Third-party tracking tools (Hotjar, Mixpanel, etc.)
- Social network cookies
- Fingerprinting or cross-site profiling

You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or be alerted when a cookie is placed. Please note that disabling essential cookies may affect platform functionality. Consult your browser's help for more information.
Most browsers let you view, delete or block cookies from their settings: in Chrome under Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies, in Firefox under Settings → Privacy & Security, and in Safari under Settings → Privacy. You can also opt out of Google's advertising cookies at any time via Google's Ads Settings page (adssettings.google.com) or by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in our practices. Any material changes will be communicated via the platform.
