We are building the financial infrastructure Morocco deserves — a composable financial OS designed for businesses, by entrepreneurs.

## Our mission

In Morocco, 98% of businesses are SMEs. Yet no financial tool has been designed for them. Traditional banks impose slow processes, opaque fees, and outdated tools. Entrepreneurs deserve better.

Every day, thousands of Moroccan entrepreneurs waste precious time in bank queues, buried under administrative paperwork. Opening a simple business account can take three weeks. Getting a business card requires endless procedures. Fees are opaque, statements arrive late, and treasury visibility is virtually nonexistent. This system was never designed for fast-moving entrepreneurs.

Aslan takes a radically different approach: a composable financial OS. Businesses compose their payment touchpoints — online cash-in, point of sale, payment links — with built-in KYC trust and money-movement logic like splits, payouts and recurring collection, all on one core with a unified API and ledger.

Our vision is simple: every Moroccan entrepreneur deserves modern, performant, and transparent financial tools. Whether you run a restaurant in Marrakech, a startup in Casablanca, or a shop in Tangier, you should have access to the same financial technology as companies in San Francisco or Paris. This conviction drives every decision at Aslan.

## Who we are

We are a team based in Casablanca, and we build Aslan for Morocco. This is not a foreign product hastily localized: it is a platform born here, designed for local realities — Moroccan taxation, payment habits, and the specific needs of the Kingdom's SMEs. Our architecture is modular and our APIs are open, enabling developers to integrate Aslan into their existing tools or build custom solutions.

Aslan was founded by Bilal El Kouche (CEO), 25+ years in payments and fintech infrastructure, former co-founder of NORBr and holder of a patent in payment card emulation technology. Based in Casablanca, his mission is to make professional financial services accessible to every entrepreneur in Morocco.

## Regulatory status

Aslan is a licensed platform, operating as a principal agent of a payment institution licensed by Bank Al-Maghrib. This means your funds are protected, your transactions compliant, and your IBAN fully functional, all within a rigorous regulatory framework.
